Explorer Limited 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

Took vehicle to McCarty Ford in Alabaster, AL for "THE WORKS" which included oil change and vehicle inspection. report indicated that battery was "OK". Two weeks later, battery went dead. Cables were so corroded that they could not even be removed. Dealership wanted $680 to make repairs and replace battery. I took to local mechanic and he made repairs for $60 plus cost of battery. Seems to be a common problem with Ford, but they will not take responsibility, as usual.
