Car at the Ford dealership for the 3rd time. Still have not found the issue what cause the problem. So far they replaced front lower and upper control arms (A arms), steering rack, all front suspension bushings. I asked them to check the wheel bearings this time and the LKS system .
Description of the issue in more detail -
When turning to left and right in speeds between 15 to 50MPH and turn requires steering wheel to be around "11" or "2" clock position there is really short RUB or metal to metal grinding sound ( 1/2 second max) from the front wheel ( right turn sounds come from left wheel/ left turn sounds come from right wheel) in about 80% of the turns. It feels like the wheel is trying to lock up, and the traction light flashes when the sounds happen and the whole car is trying to go straight or " fights the driver " ( it scares me sh*t-less when it rains or roads wet !)
Any suggestions are welcome, I got the feeling they will not fix it this time also and I will have to do the repair my self or at leas the troubleshooting.
Update from Apr 23, 2024: Steering wheel position sensor bad / faulty, car trying to correct it self to go straight when turning.
