No matter how hard or soft I shut the door, the door ajar light stays on. I have had to open and shut the door 6 or 7 times sometimes. So annoying when I'm just trying to get my mail or get gas.

Door ajar on driver side will not turn off. My searches online have shown that this has been a continuous problem with Fords for many years. The fix is difficult and expensive and of course it began just after the warranty expired. Very disappointed that Ford has not fixed this problem over the years. A real pain, and drains battery.
