Last night while I was driving home, I plugged my iPhone 7 into my car to listen to my music. I was connected through the bluetooth SYNC as well as being hard plugged. It began to play a song from my files for about seconds and then it skipped to the next song and continued to do that. So I ended up switching over to play my Pandora music vs my saved music. I didn't have any problems with that.
I do not experience any issues with my phone or music when I have bluetooth turned and and synced to other devices. Only in my Ford Explorer. So frustrating to drive a brand new car and have annoying issues like this.
I have another complaint posted listed with a similar issue.

Bluetooth & sync issues galore. Ongoing since vehicle was 2 years old and still under full warranty. Bluetooth phone connects, but produces no audio when call starts. Disconnect call and the radio wont start back. No audio from any source. Hands free turns into all-hands - completely defeats the point of safety.
Sync connection to phone to produce Android Auto on screen works randomly 50% of the time with no rhyme or reason... I finally had it diagnosed by a Ford Dealer who said the bluetooth module was bad - replacement and reprogramming $1200. Not convinced it would even fix the problem and not going to give Ford $1200 for anything. I'll continue to use speaker phone on my phone and never buy Ford again.
