Purchased a brand new Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT in 2005, since then its been nothing but a nightmare. I've replaced the Pads, Rotors and Bearings multiple times since then, seems like every year at least one of those things go bad and I BABY this truck! A few years back the transmission had to be replaced which was another pricey bill and Ford would not cover it. The battery has died on me multiple times over the past 6 years, having been replaced multiple times as well. My mechanic calls the truck a lemon every time I come in for repairs because it really has been. I'm done with this truck and I'm done with Ford, really disappointed in whats been a true money pit for me and a constant stress. The more I read into this truck and complaints, the more I see that I'm far from the only one whose had these issues.
