auto alarm goes off at any time for no reason. Goes off when alarm is not even activated (doors are unlocked). All Ford could do was lube my door latches, big surprise that didn't work.
This seems to be a common problem? Is there a solution? Is there a Ford TSB?

The alarm keeps going off if you lock the doors with the door button or the remote button. If you physically push the door locks down then the alarm wont go off. Otherwise, its anyone's guess at what time of night it will go off. Any help please?

Alarm module is under the kick panel on drivers side. Disconnect the two wires, let sit for 20 mins and put them back on. Place them back in the same place from where you took them from!!!!! They have to go back in the same place but the trick is the order you hook them back up. It has to be in a certain order. Don't remember which one first, sorry. If alarm still sounds on its own, disconnect them and hook them back up in reverse order that you did the first time. Should fix the problem. Do at own risk, fixed my truck but i am sure it voids any warranty you might have. Unsure if there are any ramifications about crossing the two wires accidentally when you go to hook them back up. So be careful and do at own risk.
