Well, I get a call from work that my boyfriend was in a wreck and had rolled his truck over. Come to find out he has some minor injuries but, he saved lives and put his own at risk. He rolled 2 and a half times all due to the ridiculous "mechanical default" of the brake system of his 1999 Ford F-150 truck that he has had for several years now.

After rolling and landing on the top of his truck and being pinned in he was able to wiggle his way out and kick the remaining part of the window out and climb out of the truck. Many people that were passing by had already stopped but could not help him because he was upside down and to top it off he was on a guard rail. Thank god that he is alive and no one else was injured due to the quick thinking and his instincts.

I really think that maybe Ford NEEDS to look into making sure they issue a brake recall of some kind. I will be contacting Ford directly in the next couple days and they WILL receive the pictures that was taken along with the police report. One very irritated girlfriend!!!!!

I first thought that something had slipped under the brake peddle. Not true. The brake peddle feels like a rock, will not depress at all. If I pump the brakes, I can regain braking power. Since it is ABS, have trained myself not to pump. Luckily, it only happens on rare occasions and only when going very slow. Mechanic said I could replace the tires or disable the ABS system. He figured that the ABS was kicking in. My 4 snow tires still had legal tread, so I pulled the fuse. It won't pass inspection this way, but that is a ways off. Not convinced that this will solve the problem.
