Severe smell of antifreeze in cabin of truck. "mist" from the vents. Must run with windows open and still smell and taste antifreeze. Certified Ford dealership was able to find nothing wrong. Has been like this for 2 years.

While driving 30 mph driver noticed that the check engine light and SRS light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. The cause has not been determined at this time. Consumer will contact the dealer in the near future.

Vehicle caught on fire while parked in the garage attached to the consumer's home. The local fire department arrived to extinguish the fire. The fire investigator confirmed that the fire started in the engine compartment area.....consumer felt that it was an engine fire caused by a manufacturing defect. Ford was unwilling to investigate problem, wanted NHTSA to do a thorough investigation of Ford F-150 trucks.
