2002 F150 pain peeling on hood and roof, was told it was because I use these $1 washing outlets,

the presure over time took off the clear coat paint and now the sun rays causes the paint to peel, approx $1200-$1400 to fix??? No help from Ford Moter co or dealers.

I have found many similar issues with 2002-2003 paint on F150 trucks. It seems they have aluminum hoods, to save weight, and Ford did NOT prime the aluminum correctly. Paint is peeling off in sheets and started on edges on top only thus far.
