I have replaced wheel hub assemblies on both sides of the front of the car. I have checked all wiring from wheel hub assemblies to the harness on the master cylinder. The abs light on the dash is always on, and it does not hurt the car performance, but it is just extremely annoying. I will not waist any more money on this issue. I have a friend that has a Pontiac Bonneville 01. He has the same exact issue I have an he has spent just as much money or more and time on his and it still does not work right. We both have come to the conclusion that it is a computer problem with the car. The sensors are way to easily damaged by snow, water or any element that we may have to go through and to have to replace the whole wheel hub just for that piece of crap is dumb. I think since it is a safety device that failing on these cars and seems to happen on all of the Buick Pontiac models that they should have recalled them for this.

I have been in the Auto idustry for the last 20 year's and for the last 15 I have seen everything go wrong with all make's and model's. The worst issue is ABS brake's. 1 st It's not ment for Canada's changing weather , Keep it on dry ground. Not ment for Snow Sleet or Ice rain. 2nd Manufaturer's claim it's not to work under 20 kilo per hour. This is a load of B.S. More fender bender's happen at this speed and most complain of loss of their brake's. ABS was pushing my foot back. 3rd Why are we replacing these part's just after warrenty run's out. Good for buisness YA. But the cutomer hasn't even paid for the vehicle yet, 1000.00 dollar's for new hub's just for the sake of a little grease that wasn't put in the bearing's. That's all it is lack of grease , And the fact that it's made in an other country doesn't help our worker's trying to find a job. Why Not Start building QUALITY NOT QUANTITY $$$. JUST to add some salt to the wound The Big 3 need to look at the Big Picture, And open their Wallet's and give back to those who can't afford these Rediculus Repair's that Shoudn't have happend in the First Place. WARENTY on SAFTY EQUIPMENT should be implemented. I know i'm not the only one out there on this one. 20 year tech...M.J. ONT.
