2002 F-150 has had the alternator replaced 4 times previously in the last 2 years. This time the gauges all dropped to nothing, jumped back up and truck lost power. Would not restart immediately, when restarted, gauges went to full power, dropped to nothing, then bounced back and forth. Within 20 miles, battery level dropped to almost nothing.

Problems with vehicle passenger door, and paint defect on driver side of vehicle. The consumer was told that the only problems were with the torque converter which was replaced and the alternator. The consumer was concerned that the vehicle was previously involved in an accident, as there was a paint defect on the door handle which didn't fully shut at times. The consumer was willing to give back the vehicle in return of all the monies (payment(s)/down payment).
