We read that the manifold covers in 02 F150s are cheap, causing this leak. Contacted Ford who said no recall because it is not a safety issue. But gasses are leaking in to the truck. Hate to spend $1400+ due to faulty design!

F-150 XL 4.2L V6

i have replaced this manifold once already and in a few months time it has cracked again. it on the passegners side of the engine and the crack always ocurrs between the last two exhuast ports about in the middle of them. it fills my truck full of fumes and i hate to have my son in the truck PLEASES HELP!!
