F-150 LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150,000 miles

Ford F-150 the engine light won't go off,and stay off.

Oxygen sensors have been checked and 2 replaced, other 2 OK.

Battery replaced. The light will stay off for several miles , and then come back on and stay on.

This keeps the truck from passing the required MARTA inspection.

It is a real pain. I've been told to just drive it for a specified number of miles to let it recycle, to no avail.

This vehicle been to the shop and the problem still is there. I've been told that it is the spark plugs sensor. I pay and it was ok for a day. Went back to the dealer and I was told that there could be another one that went bad and that you could fix one today and tomorrow another could be gone, and that the best thing to do is to replace all of them for $3,200. That is not right. This vehicle is not for poor people. It's only for the rich.
