2004 F150 supercrew, engine stalls while coming to a stop, braking and slow turns. His has happened 30 to forty times since the truck was purchased new Oct 2003. Ad it service for the problem in 2004, seemed to fix it, but started happening again. Had it to the service department 2 more times with no fix yet. When the engine dies you lose brakes steering. This is very dangerous with on coming traffic.

Cam shaft diffuser recall. When vehicle was brought in for a knocking noise in engine dealership automatically diagnosed the problem without inspecting the vehicle and replacing the air raid intake as stated in the above recall. This part was replaced three times. However the knocking noise still existed. A factory representative was contacted. The factory representative visibly saw the after market air raid intake system installed, and immediately instructed the dealership to disallow the warranty, charging the consumer for parts/ labor, and rental car cost. Also, factory representative indicated that the knocking noise from the engine was due to the vehicle running lean because of the after market air raid air intake system which was installed by their company. Ford representative wanted to charge the consumer $6, 900 to replace the long block which was damaged due to the above problem.

I bought my 2004 Ford F-150 supercrew FX4 Feb. 17, 2004.I started having trouble with the A/C system as soon as it started to get hot[ above 85 degrees ] I brought it to the dealer[scarsdale Ford ] twice and they tell me it is in spec, but it does not cool the cab, I checked the temp coming out of the vents and it stays at 43 degrees, my wifes pathfinder blows at 28 degrees, a big difference.I am now waiting for a Ford engineer to show up at the dealer ship.T O speak frankly I am very upset with the way this is being handle by Ford.I have had many different car over the years and never had this problem.
