F-150 Lariat 5.4L V8

ford should make small parts available to consumers. instead they want to charge high prices for parts (kits) not needed to make repairs

You think Ford would put quality products on their vehicles! rubber rotting and the cowl itself looks like crap after 1 year, it's all faded and my truck doesn't even sit out in the sun!!

problem #1

F-150 STX 4.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,000 miles

The rubber pieces between the wiper motor cowl (plastic) and the fender(s) are rotting prematurely. The parts are poorly manufactured (I have worked with extrusions for at least 14 years and their is definitely something wrong!). The parts cannot be purchased seperately and cost $250 to purchase with both L&R cowls. I think this needs to be a recall as the actual cowls themselves look like crap after the first year!
