Cross-reference Ford tsb 07-13-5: water leak from ac has flooded the passenger floor pan and all associated carpeting and padding. Significant health hazard exists in warm climates due to the proliferation of respiratory hazards including but not limited to legionnaire's disease. The item should be a recall for this reason. I have lost use of my truck due to the inability to sufficiently dry the padding - I have had the vehicle drying for one week in hot Florida sun to no avail.

Fordmotor company on the 2005 Ford F150 there has been over 1000 complaints about the actuator on the four wheel drive there is a vacuum switch that operates them water runs down off the cowl contaminating the vac.line causing the actuator to go out therewas a service bulletin put out showing that they new of this problem and did nothing to correct it. The switch controls the vac. To the actuator with no vac. The four wheel drive is engage when.to make it simply it takes vacuum to disengage the four wheel drive if you are going down the road and the switch fails what's going to happen you will ruin the four wheel drive actuators and could get into or cause a accident.

Easy access into Ford trucks having plastic door handles and back plates. While the break in is not a direct safety issue, it could potentially be. It takes up valuable police resources investigating these crimes, which may be needed elsewhere. The thief has the potential to remove insurance cards, registrations, etc. Containing personal information that are generally stored in glove boxes. There should be a reasonable amount of security that one can expect while in or away from a vehicle. The door handle and back plate design are faulty and allow for easy, rapid entry into the vehicle.

Purchased a 2005 F-150 4X4 Ford pick-up truck and immediately felt a strong vibration throughout the truck. Took it back to three different dealerships each one claiming they fix it. The vibration still exists and now the steering wheel is vibrating. I believe this truck is unsafe. I will continue to exhaust all avenues to repair or replace this truck.

My paint job was defective and thin, my windshield was not sealed properly, there are ticking noises from under the dashboard, the front end is too heavy for the added weight to the truck, the transmission stalls the truck when it rolls backwards in drive, the truck shakes at high speeds and has excessive tire wear, which is the only thing that Ford has all but admitted to by extending the excessive tire wear/ride harshness warranty from 1yr/12,000 miles to 3yrs/36,000 miles. Have you ever heard of a car company giving away something unless there was a serious problem with this vehicle.

The contact stated water leaked into the inside of the truck cab. The vehicle has been to the dealer once for inspection. No cause was discovered. The wiring that under the floor mat on the passenger side was under water and froze into ice. When the manufacturer was contacted they offered an extended warranty to the contact. No repairs have been made.
