It was a nail that goes where brakes and tires goes. It came off while I was driving. Thank God we didn't have an accident. As soon as we heard the noise we stopped. This truck is giving me problems a lot.

Few weeks ago my 2005 Ford F150 truck started this scraping noise and when I put in 2nd gear it stops. What could this be .

Update from Apr 4, 2018: Spent more money on my truck! Actuator

Idler arm ball joint replaced and sensor. this is crazy.
