This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
Drivers window stopped working. Had to replace the entire motor assembly. Wasn't as hard to fix as I thought it would be.

ford will not do anything about the complaints.you go the dealership and they just want to charge yu a arm and a leg. ford needs to issue a recall.this will be the last time i purchase a ford

I have the 2006 F150 Lariat and my drivers window started giving me problems while I was still under warranty. I took it in and the Service Tech said it was a comon problem with the switch. They replaced the switch and it worked fine for about a year. And of course now that I'm out of warrenty my rear sliding window wont open at all, and my front driver and passenger side windows wont go up or down without hitting the switch more than once. Like every one else I think my next truck will be a Titan or a GM truck.

Phoned Ford: saying that the window malfunction seemed to be a common problem with other Ford owners..truck was bought used from a FORD DEALER..had 41,000 miles..bought in August 2010..took vehicle back to FORD DEALER WHERE PURCHASED to be told that since the EXTENDED WARRANTY (which would put more $$$$$$ssss in their pocket) wasn't purchased, they would not fix it for free..IT IS A CRIME AND DAMN SAME THAT NOWADAYS YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA $$$$s to buy something that will work...WILL FORD EVER MAKE VEHICLES THAT PEOPLE WANT TO OWN BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY ARE A GREAT PRODUCT???
OH< they did say that they don't read the internet and that customers have to call them and complain for the complaint to be recognized by Ford..

Had to replace the window regulator and motor assembly on the driver's side. It is way below the expected standard that a 2006 Ford King Ranch that has been well-maintained should have the power window go out. It has less than 40K miles. Ford doesn't care even though this problem is listed all over the internet. This will be the last Ford truck we own.

Driver's window/lock switch faulty. I'm on my third one. It sucks when you can't roll up your window.
- Shane K., Ona, WV, US
Add me to the list an 06 with under 55000 miles and the window won't go up? Absolutely a quality issue. The replacement cost of the motor only adds insult to injury.

I talk to many f150 pickup owners & all of us have the same problems. We need a recall on this product now.

I haven't had it fixed because I've had more important problems to fix first, but it can get quite annoying. All windows roll up fine except for the driver's window. It rolls up eventually but only an inch at a time. If it is frosty, good luck rolling it up at all. Rolling down is fine.
