Another incident of a "death wobble" in the front end. Going down the hwy there is a significant wobble. Front end of truck shakes dangerously. Slowing to 20 mph resolves wobble but hitting a bump in the rd initiates this wobble again. This wobble has actually caused my truck to pull into another lane. I have had the alignment checked as well as new tires and balancing. Ball joints and other parts replaced. This is a factory issue and Ford has failed to address with owners. Deaths are a certain outcome if not finally addressed. Latest episode was last night but has been going on for years.

The coil spring on the driver's side strut broke which appears to be a well documented reliability problem on the F150 trucks. The mechanic said that this failure always happens on the drivers side and the spring breakage is always in the same spot. The id tag on the part was U 4L34 5310- but the rest was not legible.

Both front suspension springs found to be broken during routine inspection, heard one break a month ago but didn't identify the source of the break until recently. One broken spring was hanging below the shock, which could have caused a complete failure of the suspension on the right hand side.

Had a bad miss at highway speeds and limped home 15 miles. Replaced spark plugs and in the process broke two in the head. One did not break completely off (#4) and I needed to borrow a prototype tool from lisle tool Corp. Removed and replaced plugs following Ford procedures. Truck still had a miss. Replaced all eight coil packs which fixed the problem. Total cost$380. Truck down for 6 days awaiting tools and parts. Developed a vibration at highway speeds. Original tires(pirelli) were separating. Replaced tires(976.00), much better. Still have slight vibration at highway speeeds. Found left front hub bearing seeping grease and feels stiff. Awaiting parts to do repairs. (98.00) had a transmission shudder at light load in overdrive. Flushed transmission with bg products and flush machine. Added new trans fluid and conditioner. Transmission now shudders at all speeds when hot. Will order new filter and replace. Will add friction modifier and try again. Have to tow another vehicle this weekend and am afraid to do so. I am completely blown away that these problems could happen to any vehicle starting at 48,000 miles. All maintenance has been performed with top of the line products. Have been a Ford owner all my life and am completely dis-satisfied with the performance of this supposed number one selling truck. The sticker prices of these trucks should be a bunch less since cheaply produced chinese parts are so prevalently used. Not happy.

2007 Ford F150 @54,000 miles rotors, brakes, top ball joints, bottom ball joints upper lever arm, and now my front brakes locked up lucky there was no accident, and several times I have pressed on gas and brake pedal at same time because they are so close together. Both the locking up of the brakes and sudden acceleration are very dangerous. The mileage is 54,000 and have had all these problems. Is Ford not telling the customer of these dangerous problems.

2007 Ford F-150 4X4 had the 4X4 shift on the fly activate on hard pavement while merging onto highway while on the on ramp, car lurched forward and very loud bang almost like a gunshot happened at 50 miles an hour. Caused the truck to swerve to the right onto shoulder narrowly missing the abutment. The cause is faulty vacuum actuators and shift motor. This happened repeatedly and was especially pronounced in right turns causing for imprecise turning and handling of the vehicle.
