Ford makes their interior door handles for the 2009 F-150 out of some kind of plastic composite that is not strong enough for normal use. My 10 year old daughter broke it while opening the door on the passenger side. This is ridiculous to make something critical to safety out of plastic. It cost me $288 to replace the handle. I demand Ford engineers fix this design flaw. I am an engineer so they cannot bullshit me that this part is made of sufficient strength for everyday use.
