it happened last year stalled on interstate during thunderstorm. called my wife and went to local dealership and was told they would go pick it up and tow it in. a day and a half later they picked it up and took it to the ford garage or service center... called me on Monday and told me they cant do anything cause my battery was completely dead. wanted to sell me a new battery!! I told them I had just purchased the one in there and if they would have got their ass up there and picked it up it wouldn't be dead! almost two days with flashers on!!!!! I told them they would pay for battery , I called the next day to check on it and ask about battery and mine was ok?????? said they replaced sending unit. when I went to pick it up I ask for my old parts and the guy looked like I was holding a gun on him! he called back to service manager and told him I wanted old parts and went back to get them took 30 minutes to get back with old sending unit?????? their full of sh*t!!! lie, and cheat working people out of their money selling parts they do not need. A DAMN SHAME!!!!!

5.4L V8 is the absolute worst engine on the face of the planet. In the first 100,000 miles HALF of the cylinders BLEW UP. I had to spend $2,000 to rebuild half of the engine. Less than 25,000 miles later, cylinder 5 is misfiring. Google says replace the spark plug, easy enough right?? No. No shop will do it except the dealer which charges a metric ASS load to do.. why does no shop do it? Because the way Ford designed the truck, water drips from the windshield through the crack in the hood INTO THE F*CKING SPARK PLUGS.... THEY RUST IN THERE. WTF? Now instead of an hours work under the hood in my driveway for free, I have to pay the dealer $140 for ONE PLUG. I don't even know if it's even the plug that's f*cking up or if its the coils or what. I have to go on a limb and have them do the plug. F*ck being broke.
