My vehicle is brand-spanking new, unmodified in any way. The speedometer is progressively off. At low speeds it's accurate, but by 60-85 miles an hour, it's increasingly inaccurate from 4-8 miles an hour (measured by my GPS which has worked fine in my last three vehicles). The big honking speedometer with the big honking speedometer needle is very easy to read and isn't subject to interpretation. This a perfect example of lazy Ford engineering. The Ford service tech blew off my complaint and was more interested in blaming my GPS. He finally said as long the truck's speedometer is within 10 miles an hour, it's within spec. B*llsh*t it is! I've never had a brand new, unmodified vehicle that had a speedo as inaccurate as this.
