Driving wrench with traction control light while driving. Fuel pump displayed with low fuel - however, the gas tank was full. Temperature gauge went to Cold, speedometer went to 0. Service tire mount fault displayed also. I pushed on the gas peddle and did not pick up speed. This has happened a total of 4 times, over a 2 day period. Then all would come back up and be normal.
Ford dealer the 1st time it happened found communication codes in the instrument panel. They reprogrammed the Anti-Lock Brake System. After driving back home, after about 25 miles the same thing happened. Had it towed back to the dealership in Susanville, CA. The dealer service technician drove it twice, 50 miles round trip, and it "drove like a champ". Drove home 30 miles & it's currently fine. Dealership said they "Suspect possible intermittent issue with the instrument cluster, however at this time no concern is present thought".
I live in the mountains at 4,600 feet, snow elevation. I want to get rid of it before it happens again and get a Chevy Tahoe like I had before. FORD = Fixed Or Repaired Daily &/or Found On Road Dead. I loved my 2010 Ford F150 Lariat 4WD; however, I have a low level of patience with these kind of bizarre issues. Can't find anything/anywhere with the same type of complaint.
