The contact owns a 2010 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the accelerator pedal was depressed but failed to respond.in addition, there was an abnormal banging noise and the vehicle would shift into gear. The failure recurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 200.
