A few weeks ago a buddy of mine told me my backup Lights were not working when I was in reverse. After finding this out I realized that this was a problem since I owned the Vehicle as I never saw the lights in the rear camera and could only distinguish things when I applied the brakes at night. From what I understand there is a recall on 2012 Ford F150's where there is a calibration issue with the DTR switch that resides on the transmission and the backup lights do not come on. I'm bringing it to the Dealer ($Ka-Ching$) to get it repaired. Out of warranty because I can't prove that they never worked. Anyone else see this problem on Center Console Shift Fords?
Update from Dec 15, 2014: Found the Problem. Ford Never installed the Fuse in the Under the hood Fuse box option 43. I actually noticed at night that my License Plate Lights are also off this circuit as I notice them in the Backup Camera. Good Job Ford. The Lights could have never worked yet you sent it out the Factory. Thank God I never backed into someone.
