The contact owns a 2010 Ford F-150. While driving 50 mph, the contact attempted to close the moon roof; however, it became stuck and would not close. The contact heard an abnormal popping sound coming from the area of the moon roof. The vehicle was taken to bilingsly Ford 1 (8209 quanah parker trailway, lawton, ok 73505) where the mechanic stated that there was no remedy for the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 53,500.

The contact owns a 2010 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while having the vehicle serviced by an independent repair shop for routine maintenance, he was informed that the moon roof was improperly installed. The structural beams were cut out of the vehicle and the head liner was modified, which could cause the roof to collapse. As a result, the side air bag timing was modified. An authorized dealer was notified and referred the contact to their attorney. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 25,000.
