this is a real bad problem it will about shake your teeth out when stopping. i have not had time to take in to dealer but will get it done in the next 2 weeks. i believe it is warped brake rotors ( it seems to have started after the 1st service but not right away i had tires rotated at same time ) the truck rides very smooth. just when stopping, the harder you brake the worse it gets. the steering wheel will shake so bad you almost can not hold on to it.
the truck has never been off road, never abused. just drive to from work which is about 19 miles each way. very disappointed with ford for this with only 16000 miles.

The truck brake rotors on both right and left front looked like lava rock surfaces. I took them to a mechanic friend who said it looked like infernal metal. He said I should take them down to my Ford service center. They told me the same thing and told me to contact Ford Motor. I did and explained my findings, but they said the parts were no longer covered under the One year, twelve thousand mile warranty. I replaced the brakes and rotors and thirty thousand miles later they look like new.
