The contact owns a 2012 Ford F-150. The contact stated that both rear doors had trouble opening without warning. The vehicle was taken to Ford country (280 N gibson rd, henderson, nv 89014, (888) 360-8509) where it was diagnosed that both rear door latches needed to be replaced. Both doors latches were replaced, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford F-150. While driving 40 mph, the rear passenger door became ajar. The contact stated that the door was being secured by duct tape. Orleans Ford (located at 1405 S main St, medina, NY 14103, (585) 798-4316) was contacted by phone and the contact was provided guidance in diagnosing the issue. It was then determined that the latch spring had fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.
