F-150 5.0

  • Automatic transmission
  • 140,000 miles

I've been to the dealership at least 3 times now and have expressed that it needs to get fixed. I was told that they need to see the truck downshift in order to get it fixed. At this point if something bad happens Ford is gonna get sued because they've ignored it several times now. I don't even allow my children to ride in it. All I want is a drivable truck not waiting to get myself killed!!

Hello, I purchased a Certified Pre Owned 2012 FORD F-150 LARIAT 3.5 L ECOBOOST 4WD SUPER CREW 6.5 STYLESIDE TRUCK IN 2017 It is my first ford and has not had many problems, There was a recall and Sunrise Ford replaced a vacume pump, Another recall for a Transmission Lead Frame that i went to Sunrise Ford to have the Lead Frame replaced, And reprogramed, Since that time the Wrench Symbol has came on in the speedometer cluster and the truck goes into LIMP MODE Just off idle power to get to a dealer or repair shop ! Each time i went to Sunrise Ford, The first time it happened i took it in they were to busy to check the problem But their Service writer got a plug in code reader and said there was no code present ? I do know there was a warning in the information cluster !!! And about 4 months later the same wrench light symbol came on and the truck again went into LIMP MODE! It was 4:00 pm and i got the truck to Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood but it was too late to have a mechanic check it out ! Iwas going to take it back in the morning but when you shut the truck off there was no code's present ! I was told by the dealer that i purchased this truck from that the Certified Pre Owned had a extended warrenty on power train to 100,000 miles ! So here i go off driving a truck that may downshift to first gear at any speed and loose control !!! There has been many problems with the 6R80 Transmission and i want it replaced by FORD AT NO COST TO ME, Please Craig,
