Had 3 Kids 1, 2 and 4yo in the back when the window exploded and it sounded like a gunshot. All the kids were crying and screaming. The shatter is from the inside and as you can see in the picture its right on the Defroster line. We live in Florida so we only used it maybe 3 times since we bought in in San Diego in 2013.

Update from Dec 3, 2021: Took it to Ford and they said its only covered for 3 years. Their price is over $800 and the entire unit needs to be replaced to include the electric slider.
