have yet to find a fix for this issue. It seems to be some sort of short or loose connection because driving over a bump (speed bump, pot hole, etc) will turn the fan on or off, but the cabin controls are useless. This is terrible here in Orlando when it gets 90+ on Daily basis. it appears others are experiencing this issue; WHY HASN'T FORD MADE A RECALL??????

HVAC blower / fan started acting up in July. It started out by not running at all. Then it would run / function, but then cut out, then run, then cut out, and would repeat this for hours at a time. Then it would run / function for a few weeks, then do the run / stop running / run / stop running thing for days in a row, then work normally again for a few weeks at a time. Most recently, its stopped working completely. All the time that this is happening, the heat and a/c works - both can be felt blowing passively through the vents at highway speeds - but when its not working properly, the fan won't kick in.
I've searched repeatedly for information and possible fixes, conversed on a couple of Ford / F150 forums, and have tried a number of suggestions - disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the system; install a new fuse; install a new blower motor resistor; and finally install a new blower motor. Nothing has fixed the issue. Seems that many Fords have the same issue - regardless of mileage or age of vehicle.
I continue to try to fix this one on my own, but if I don't have it sorted soon, it will need to go in to the shop before winter hits.

Out of nowhere, the key fob stopped working and the ac/defrost blower stopped working.
