Traveling 50 mph on a 4 lane road when engine shut off. Had power to vehicle but no steering or brakes. I was able to get off the 4 lane highway successfully. The truck would turn over but not crank, after sitting 90 minutes, it cranked. Took to Ford dealership the next morning. They said it was the #27 fuse that controls the fuel pump. Put a kit in to move the #27 fuse to an isolated location so it wouldn't get hot and malfunction. The cost was $250. I asked it there was a recall and they said no. I said someone is going to get killed because this is dangerous. The response was we have been getting a lot of these. I was lucky and was able to get off the road. The next person might not be as lucky. Something needs to be done before someone is fatally injured.

Was towing a smaller pick up on a car carrier approaching a stop light aprox 30 feet in front of me at about 40 mph. A car in the lane to my right pulled into my lane & I applied my breaks a bit harder now that I have less room to stop. My truck did not slow down any, I pushed the break peddle to the floor & still wasn't slowing down. I pushed the emergency brake to the floor yet still collided with the car in front of me, causing serious damage to both vehicles. After my truck was repaired I picked it up at 6pm one evening & the next morning called back saying something was seriously wrong with my truck. It was randomly slowing down & speeding up out of my control & hearing a odd noise from the engine area. 4 hours later I slammed into another car because it would not slow down & stop.

Ford, F-150, 2013 ecoboost (109K miles). While driving the breaks become hard as a rock, fail to stop truck and check break systems warning comes onto dash. Happens during moist weather conditions. Most recently, after coasting to a stop and stranded with no breaks on a rural road (actively raining), I turned off the traction control and breaks returned to normal. This break failure happened 4 times to date, during high speeds, average speeds and low speeds. This is extremely dangerous. No recall for my VIN, although the truck meets recall details.

Billy cain Ford sold a truck to me as low mileage with no carfax damage. Salesman tom chacko promised a carfax report at closing. He failed to produce the report upon delivery to me at work. Tom vowed the truck had no damages. Carfax/auto check showed 4 brake failures and 2 alternator failures. Greene Ford verified flood damage 12-11-18. Tom chacko denied their findings 12-12-18, requested written report. Lemon squad documented flood damage 12-26-18. All three reports show consistent flood damage. Jason pirkle warranty/finance manager refused to repair failed emissions stating they were not covered under my extended warranty purchase. The emissions coded 170mi after purchase indicating that code was reset before my purchase. The emissions damage was covered under emissions performance warranty coverage federal mandate. Greene Ford gladly repaired the emissions with no issues. Jason pirkle presented the truck to wells fargo bank, state farm insurance, and Ford motor warranty division as undamaged value. The truck only has salvage value because of the flood damage. Over $5000 in repairs and 34 days in the repair shop. The truck has massive electrical issues from flood damage. I have not driven the truck since 12-11-2018. Major efforts were taken to deceive the buyer of this truck. If billy cain Ford had presented the truck truthfully I would have never purchased the truck. Billy cain Ford did a purchase inspection, maintenance service inspection, and complete detail so they had knowledge of flood damage. A registered mail request for buy back was sent to cody cain 1-17-2019 and he not responded to the request. Billy cain Ford has not made a honest written offer to resolve this issue to date.

Dealership says it needs a new hcu. 1500$ cost for a hcu this is unsat a person should not have to worry about brakes going out overnight like I was informed could happen. This should be fixed with a recall.

I have had 3 issues with the vehicles brake master cylinder failing. All in a 4 month period. The brake master cylinder fails and I am left with little or no brakes. The dealership tells me I have some kind of contamination in the fluid. They have replaced the master cylinder twice and Ford will not do anything about the problem, so I am advised to replace all brake components to the tune of 2500. Dollars. This is a serious issue that Ford Motor Company should address and wont help me at all. The brakes don't give you any warning when they are going to fail. Every time they fail I have been driving, luckily no one has been killed or injured yet. Nobody can guaranty me if I fix the braking system that it will work like it is supposed to.

3 major brake jobs in less that 70 thousand miles and a recall to the brake master cylinder. I have had a pulsing in my pedal and front end literally at 20K mile intervals and have had to machine / resurface or fully replace rotors and pads 3 times on a truck with only 60K in miles on it Ford still refuses to admit a problem however the rotors they are using have since been replaced in fact after the 2 years of using these rotors but the problem still remains I just want to something on record should something happen to myself or any one I have as a passenger as written documentation of this continued problem. This is not only dangerous its irresponsible on their part
