The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V345000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) in November 2016, which included the replacement of the brake master cylinder. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V345000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) which he linked to his girlfriend's failure. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed him that the vehicle was not under recall. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
