Vehicle experiences sudden & rapid power loss, deceleration and vehicle shuttering at highway speeds. Occurs quickly and without any warning, presenting major safety issue as it has almost caused several vehicle crashes. At highway speeds this can result in severe vehicle damage and potential injuries. Dealer attributes issue to be with the throttle body and has been a problem on a number of Ford vehicles over the last 2 years. I have verified this by internet query. I have not seen or received any notification or recalls from Ford on this or any other problems with my truck model. The vehicle in question is a 2013 Ford F150 with the eco-boost engine.

My Ford 150 V8 supercab at 32 miles per hour starts shaking the whole truck and vibrates. It does this regardless of road conditions and or gear the truck is in. It only goes away when you drop below 32 or go faster than 35.

My 2013 Ford F150 XLT began flashing a warning saying service advancetrac. Then it immediately begins flashing shift to park. The truck then begins to downshift causing a rapid slowing of the truck.. when I get to the side of the road to stop I hear metal on metal grinding noises from the engine compartment that I believe is the transmission trying to shift to park... the truck then loses all blinkers and flashers as well as all lighting on the instrument panel. I was able to drive it to a safe location off the road this time.. the truck randomly continues this and its been in the shop several times and they say nothing is wrong with it. I finally got fed up and began video of the dash display in order to document my safety and problems. This truck is 9 months old and has 14000 miles on it. It has done it again and all electrical systems would not reboot and left me stranded for a long time. We have been driving on I95 at 75mph during holiday traffic and it happened again and we literally thought we would be killed because cars had to slam on brakes to avoid our disabled car. It was even scarier since my 6month old daughter was in the vehicle then.we are at a loss because Ford has completely ignored the problem and just assumes I will stop making them fix this at some point. I'm in a 1 car family and bought this to accommodate my new baby and have her a safe ride...this problem is dangerous and it is going to hurt or kill someone if its left unaddressed. [xxx] at jim hudson Ford service has told me he knows its something wrong with it but Ford will not allow him to fix it under the warranty terms for new trucks. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Driving in rainy conditions attempting to accelerate my truck started to lose power, shaking and check engine light started to flash. After getting out of traffic to pull over called my wife to bring me my O.B.D hand held found that I had codes P0300, P0304, P0305 and P0306 which is for cylinders misfiring. This is the second time this has happened in heavy traffic condition it could easily cause a traffic accident, does someone have to die before ya'll take action. My truck is at kenly Ford in kenly North Carolina and like the first time they play it off like I don't know what I am talking about and they always say they can't find anything wrong with it. Please don't sit around and let this problem cost someone their life......

Regular morning, right as I was driving out of the parking lot, two alarms went off: "power train" and "service engine soon". at first I thought it was an error so I continued to drive out of the parking lot. Not even 10 yards out, my truck began to jerk forward so I put on park and shut the engine off. I started again, attempted to drive back to my parking stall, and same thing happened. I bought this truck about 10 months ago and it only got 7800 miles on it. I haven't put any strenuous work load on this truck, mainly used for commuting so far.

Was accelerating entering interstate I95 North bound from an on ramp and suddenly my vehicle lost power and began to stall and shutter. The truck rapidly lost power plus speed and a tractor trailer truck almost ran in to the back of me. I dealt with this issue for the remainder of my 500 mile trip to nyc (and still dealing with this issue today now weekly bases). Once back home I took the truck to the dealership who was aware of misfire issues with my truck model (apparently it is known by the manufacturer that the truck stalls and misfires issue and said I had all the latest updates however still today I experience stall and misfire mainly under hard acceleration. Lately the issue has worsen and I am told by the manufacturer that there is nothing that they can of will do about it until they come up with a fix. This vehicle is a major safety risk period. I have asked the manufacturer over and over to correct the problem however they simply told me they don't have a fix for is as of yet. I am asking that you look into this and investigate my concern please don't wait until someone god forbid loose their life because this is a major safety concern. We need to be more proactive than reactive. The Ford F150's equipped with the turbo eco boost engine is a major safety hazard it is just a matter of time before someone gets hurt and loose their life before something might be done - that is the sad part. Please I beg you to look into my concern and follow up asap. Just last night my vehicle stalled I have to constantly drive it cautiously. I only have less than 14,000 miles on the vehicle because I am scared to drive it - I don't want to sell it to no one else because I would feel bad knowing the major safety issues this vehicle has - I just can't bring myself to putting someone in a vehicle that could hurt them. Please get behind Ford and investigate this issue.

F150 2013 ecoboost. Truck as a vibration at the speed of 25 to 30mph and again at 40 to 50mph and again at 55mph. If you press the gas pedal a little more the vibration stops or if you release the gas pedal the vibration stops as well, (only on those speeds) I' taken the truck 5 to 6 times to the dealer and they can't find the problem and that it is normal.

My brand new Ford F150 svt raptor was in park at my residence and while I was standing outside my truck it started coming backwards like someone put it into reverse. My mother was in the yard and she is a witness to what happened. I had both of the doors open and while it was like someone had put it into reverse which no one was in my vehicle I jumped into the truck and tried to apply the brake it was too late. The truck while coming in reverse which the transmission was in park the drivers side door caught the pole on our carport and about ripped the door off. I called everyone under the sun with the Ford company and they thought I was telling them a fib. I don't know what can be done about this but something needs to be done because it could hurt or cause a death to someone.....

Engines runs rough especially at idle and other random times through the day. Coolant loss continuing from new in July 2013 to present day May 2014. Evidence of water in oil with milky residue in filler cap. No external leaks. Dealer and Ford say that coolant loss is normal and milky residue in engine oil is normal. Ford will not authorize any repairs.

Upon accelerating from a stop 4or 5 loud knocking sounds were heard and felt, and engine power loss was experienced. I let off throttle to reduce knocking sound, which sounded like turbo wastegate possibly, and engine shook and had reduced power for several miles. Temperature outside was warm and dry. I had been driving vehicle for over an hour before problem. It has had reduced power and minor shaking before, but nothing like this. Fortunately no other vehicles were coming. I do notice wastegate popping off on short, steep hills more lately. I have the ecoboost engine. Have not been to dealer yet, but have appt soon.

During acceleration to highway speed during rainy weather my truck exhibited a power loss. The check engine light started to flash and the engine looses power and the vehicle decelerated. This has occurred 2 times since I have owned this vehicle (since December 2013). I have the truck in the shop now for another issue and have informed the dealer of the incidents but have not heard back from them.

During acceleration to pass a car, my truck exhibited a power loss. The check engine light starts flashing and the engine looses power and the truck decelerates. This has now happened 6 times in various conditions. In 3 instances the engine almost stalled. It continued to stutter until I put the truck in park, shut the engine off and restarted. Twice, this has happened in Chicago traffic while merging onto the highway and resulted in a very dangerous situation. I have taken my truck to the dealer 4 times but they say no computer codes were recorded. I have contacted Ford but the regional customer service manager says she has never heard of anyone with this problem before. They refuse to do anything about it and told me to continue to take my truck to the dealer when these issues occur. My truck is now 9 months old with 13,000 miles on it. The most recent occurrence was in March of this year.

While making a long commute to portland or. From seattle wa., very early in the morning. It was a very rainy night, and I was trying to pass a semi who was struggling to go up a hill, as I pushed the pedal to pass him quickly, the truck shuddered, then lost all power and the check engine light was blinking. I avoided the truck and other traffic as I limped the truck to the side of the road. I then turned the truck off and it worked as it should. Light stayed on for a week or more. I very easily could have gotten in a major accident that morning, and I still have issues with my engine light coming on all the time. Off to the dealer I go. 2013 F-150 3.5L ecoboost. Less than 1200 mi. On vehicle. Not cool.

While entering traffic, form a standing start, the truck accelerated fine until such time as it reached approximately 65 klm/hr. Or approx. 40 miles per hour, wherein it lost power dramatically. It did not stall, or lose power steering, or brakes, but there was absolutely no power whatsoever to the drive train. None.this happened on a two lane highway, where the speed limit is 80 klm/hr. Or 45 miles per hour. There had been on coming traffic headed West, and I was turning East, a left turn. The on coming traffic was a ways away, so I had lots of time as far as the East bound traffic was concerned, but upon making the East bound lane the truck lost power. There was a semi bearing down on me headed East, so I left the road. The semi passed me without incident, but just barely. Once at the side of the road I noticed a wrench icon on the dash. I turned the engine off, waited a few minutes, turned it back on and was able to drive on. I live in Ontario, Canada. I have used my sister's address for your form. I hope you do not mind?
