I WAS A 2007 F250 6.0 POWERSTROKE OWNER AND HAD ALL OF THE USUAL PROBLEMS AND CONTACTED FORD AND THEY WERE NOT EAGER TO LOOK INTO RESOLUTIONS OTHER THAN TO CHARGE FEE'S TO DO ENGINE UPDATES ETC.I LOVE FORDS SO I TRADED BACK TO GAS AND HAVE THE F150 FX4 3.5 ECO BOOST AND NOW HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT,(LOSS OF BOOST FROM TURBO'S AND MOTOR IS SLUGGISH AND FEELS LIKE A MISFIRE PROBLEM, FORD HAS NO RECALLS AFTER OVER 130 PLUS REPORTED ISSUES, LOOKS LIKE I WILL BE LOOKING AT OTHER MANUFACTURES VERY SOON!(CHEVROLET, TOYOTA ETC.)

Truck is a 2013 Ford with a V-6 ecoboost engine. Tremendous loss of power and acceleration. Truck will not maintain constant road speed with cruise control set. Even with a moderate wind, engine bogs down forcing transmission to shift to lower gear. Local shop research indicates a timing chain repair kit is required. Internet queries elude to the V-6 ecoboost typically has the timing problem within 44,000 miles. Without doubt, a major manufacturing quality control engineering deficiency. Give me my 1961 chevy impala with a 283 engine that lasted 225,000 miles.
