I found this site when I looked up an odd issue that happened to me today. I was driving about 30 MPH down a residential road when my car suddenly slowed severely and I quickly looked down to realize I was in 1st gear. I did not touch anything... simply driving slowly down a street. I noticed some odd gear switching recently when the truck seems to slam into gear unnecessarily, but this is a safety issue. What happens when I am on a highway with people behind me? Ford, you better step up and figure out what's happening.
