Got in my truck last night- only to find there is a crack in the windshield that starts under the lower seal on the drivers side and extends upward about 8". I haven't taken it in yet for repair or replacement- Anyone else have this problem? I typically drive only city streets, very little freeway. Haven't been behind any trucks that might kick up rocks or anything, so I don't think that's the cause. Any info is helpful.

Started truck with remote start to warm up a little. Went to jump in and noticed there is a 15" crack starting from bottom middle of window going up and taking a turn 90d towards driver's side. The glass was in perfect condition but not so much. Is there even a point going to Ford and inform them of my issue?
