warning lights, loss of gauges, loud screech, shut dwn in rte
My husband and I are furious that we have had a problem this soon with a newer vehicle. We bought new to avoid any issues the first few years!! The day our problem occurred, I started up my truck and was greeted by 5 warning lights. Low Oil pressure, 4x4 on(was in 2x) system check, trac moniter ect. I then noticed that none of my gauges were working, but I had to continue home to my children and on to the plans we had for that evening.(mind you, something we had planned for months!!!) I was about 1 mile away from home when my truck let out a loud grinding-scratching/skreetching noise and died in the middle of the road!! THANK GOD I wasn't on a busy highway with my kids in the vehicle!! This is just UNACCEPTABLE for $43,000. Ford dealership says it's the Throttle Body (which is a problem in some 15s n 16s models, first one they've seen in a 2014) I see a new Toyota Tundra in our future!! Hurts my heart though, I was raised FORD!!
