The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rear passenger door failed to open. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to barber Ford (1112 N church St, hazleton, pa 18202, (570) 454-2414) where it was diagnosed that the door cable detached. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 40,141.
