The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated while operating the vehicle with the fuel tank half full, the vehicle stalled while idling. Additionally, the vehicle failed to restart with only a quarter tank of fuel in the fuel tank. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who replaced the fuel pump, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not covered under the Manufacturer-??s extended coverage regarding the failure. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 220,000.
