This is an FYI type of complaint.... The transmission problem began about 6month ago...by making a slightly annoying noise when shifting 3rd to 4th..under slight load. Noise increased in intensity and would do it 2nd thru 5th sometimes just in normal driving conditions. Then Mid Sept it began the "shutter" while driving 3rd thu 6th gear if you were near the 1000 to 1200 rpm range.
I took it to my local Ford Dealership, whom I have trust and respect for.... They were able to duplicate the conditions I reported. They said it was "Valve Body" and that it was a common problem. They had to wait a few days for a replacement part ( High demand). When I received My truck back the Shuttering was gone.

This is the second report of the same problem but with A higher degree of Urgency. The initial repair took care of the shuttering transmission....but it only lasted a couple of weeks before the vibration began to return. This time the shudder returned quickly. I began to use the "Manual" shift option and If I kept the RMPs above 1200 to 1500 the problem would not exist. Also I notice that the automatic/computer shift sequence appears to be just above 1000 rpm and does not Down shift under load as quickly as I would expect it to.... thus causing the shuttering.
I have a second repair appointment scheduled for 12/15/2016. I have given them the updated information. I will update this site when the outcome is known.
