This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
I purchased this vehicle new Oct 2015. Since then I've had nothing but problems. Currently I have 2880 miles on the truck and I feel that it is a lemon. There is constant electrical problems from, the alarm intermittently activating for no reason to the drivers side rear door ajar warnings to interior lights coming on and off for no reason.
I've been to two different dealerships on three separate occasions and no one can find the problem. I contacted the Ford 'Consumer Hotline' in Dearborn MI and spoke to Melinda who in turn contacted the dealership to arrange for an appointment and alternate transportation so they could keep the vehicle for further diagnosing. Melinda spoke with an attitude and acted like she was doing me a big favor. IT'S A NEW FREAKING VEHICLE MELINDA!!! I did NOT have problems like this with my BMW!!!!
I would be willing to look into a Class Action Lawsuit since Ford is unwilling to buy their Lemon back.
A pissed off "American" auto owner.

"trailer battery not charging see manual" alarm continuously appears/reappears on display, especially when using brake, despite no trailer attached.
