lubricant dripping from brake pedal

The first instance was early 2017... The dealer cleaned brake pedal assembly and said it was grease from starring column. The next instance was 3 month later - the dealer replaced the entire brake pedal assembly and said he wasn't sure what was causing the lubricant drip.

Most recently it happened in August 2018. The dealer is not sure what's wrong, and will replace pedal assembly which is on back order but claims it shouldn't affect braking.
