The same problem happened again chomping back with family and trailer from Ashland WI . Check engine light started to flash, pulled off highway with family and dog called my dealer (Griffin Ford) and they told me to have it towed to the nearest dealer in Wausau. They could not find a issue, but down loaded a software upgrade after 3 hours and set us back on our way. 20 min. Later the exact same issue happened again and we were going to tow it for second time in the same day. We now have it back at Griffin Ford for multiple days and Ford engineers cannot Determine the problem yet. We now have an additional problem where the truck will just lose power when you try and accelerate quickly. We have almost been rear ended twice. So 4 times in the shop and we still have no resolution. Next step is an attorney, arbitration and file for lemon law action

Drove the new truck for 3 hours and it died on the side of the expressway, owned it for less than 20 hours. Ford roadside assistance was terrible and forced me to pay for the tow out of pocket before they would send a truck. Dealer could not give me an answer on just returning the dam truck and is avoiding my calls.
What a disappointment from an after the sale perspective. Long forth of July weekend, all dealers closed and not sure what will happen

2015 F150 ecoboost, first time issue probably related to wiring and getting wet ongoing issue that I have has with the truck. Truck would start catch for 10 seconds and die. This happened about 4 or 5 times before the truck would stay running. Once the truck actually stayed running it ran rough for about 15 -20 minutes. Ever since then every time the truck is started the RPM will hunt between 8-1200 rpm for about 3-4 minutes before idling at 1000 RPMS.
For the first 12000km of owning this truck I was averaging about 1100km to tank or 10.2 to 11.0 km/100L. The truck now is averaging about 15.2-17.8km/100L or about 700-825km per tank 136L tank. This truck has 49,000.km on the truck daily commuter truck of 250km per day all highway running at 110km.
I have complained about horrible fuel mileage to the dealership but they have told me that I should be getting 11.8 to 13.6 L/100km is normal, however Ford is claiming the that ecoboost get highway 9.2L/100km or city 11.8L/100km. They claim that these issues were from a dead left engine bank and plugged CAT converter and 2 failed O2 sensor which were all replaced about 2 months ago. I did obtain about a month of 1000-1100km per tank. but the problem has came back and had 2 mechanic check my truck out and have told me that the oil smelled like gas. Brought these issues up to my Ford customer relations worker and the dealership and nothing has been addressed thus far. I have been told that they are waiting to hear from engineering on how to correct the problem.
