I just got this truck used. Oh ya 22 mpg.....NOT. I get like 14 mpg. I took it back to the dealer and they did a full fuel test on it and said it was normal. That that is typical for pickup trucks. (Then how can you sell it at 22mpg?!) I pulled a 24 ft camper this week and got 6.7 mpg. Totally lame. According to internet forums, i should be getting better despite a 2" lift and slightly bigger tires. I'm going to take it back to the dealer and look for an exhaust leak. My turbos are also squealing, which leads me to suspect a leak..... TBC

Fuel mpg dropped to 12 and 16 mpg on solely interstate driving. It is off 1.5 to 2 gals from fuel gauge to pump and this is from Alabama to San Diego, CA so it isn't just one pump.
The vehicle also backfired through the intake after owning it for 6 months.
I grew up with Ford. I am going back to Dodge if I can get someone to steal this POS.

Check engine light came on and code P2450 was present. Replaced the evaporative emission blocking valve per the TSB15-0171 and reset the light. Also had Ford update/flash the PCM for TSB15-0142. About a week later the CEL came back on with the same P2450 code. Did a smoke test and found no leaks. Found canister vent solenoid not fully seated. Cleaned out some dirt and retested and passed. Tank evap system holds pressure.
Not sure if this is the reason for poor gas mileage but I am averaging 14-15 MPG. Anyone find a solution to CEL code P2450?
