My 2015 Ford F-150 truck has had multiple issues related to performance issues, with only 80,000 miles on it. I have had issues with it losing power while driving, both with and without towing a trailer where it just powers down on the highway from 70-75 mph down to 40-50 mph in traffic. I usually just have to pull over, turn the engine off and then turn it back on and everything runs normal. It is currently at Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs, CO, having the short block and driver side cylinder head replaced at 80,000 miles because it was smoking out the exhaust and they determined that it had coolant leaking into the #4 and #5 cylinders. This is after it had a completely new engine installed at 75,000 miles due to coolant leaking into the 3# cylinder and causing severe damage to the engine. It was in the repair shop from August 2023 until late December 2023 because the engines were are backorder. The Passenger side cylinder heads are currently on a 13 month backorder according to the dealership, which is why they are only replacing the short block and Driver side cylinder head this time, after only 5,000 miles on the replacement engine. I have also received multiple recall notifications regarding this vehicle, the most recent of which was on 4/22/2024 for #24E03 POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE UPDATE, none of which have been repaired during the multiple times and extended durations that my vehicle was at the Ford dealership for repairs. Two recalls existed and should have been repaired when my vehicle was at the dealership between August and December of 2023, and the most recent recall shows "No Remedy Available" for a PCM Module Software Update?

While sitting in my driveway getting ready to go to town, I pulled the seat belt to lock it into place when I hear a pop then the seat belt would not retract at all. It was as if the retractable spring broke. I left the truck sitting until I could get a replacement belt from Ford (450.00) to repair this safety issue. Had this belt failed in a collision it would have caused severe damage to the driver. This issue needs to be addressed before someone dies in an accident. There was no warning signs before this happened and I was very lucky it happened in my driveway and not on the highway.

Drivers Seat belt and airbag did not deploy causing me to hit the steering wheel then cracking my head on the wind shield. Was driving on highway, cruise set at 55mph, came over a hill to a car stalled in the road. I couldn't stop, both vehicles declared total loss. Direct hit, front of my 2105 F150 to the rear end of a Ford Focus, approximately 40mph. Seatbelt tightened and locked up, left bruises across my hips, airbags did not deploy. Hit my face in the steering wheel, bruised knees on dash.

I have an extended cab 2015 F-150 pick up truck. The rear suicide doors do not latch closed which leaves the front seat belt attachment unattached to the car whatsoever. I took the truck to ed shults Ford in jamestown, NY and they determined the rear door latch cable is stretching out which keeps the door from latching. This is happening on a 3 year old truck. The dealer also informed me that they see this several times a week on other F-150's with the extended cab rear suicide doors. No recall or tsb has been issued so they are charging me to fix the cable and latch. This is a huge safety concern for me. The doors need to latch, how long will this "fix" last for? the truck is 3 years old, I should not need to replace door cables on the inside of the door ever, let alone within 3 years from being produced. The door cable is internal to the door and not affected by swinging the door open. I am asking for Ford to address the safety concern and provide all customers with a safe, long term fix for this door latch mechanism on 2015 F-150's with rear suicide doors.

2 F150 safety recalls: Passenger side seat belt and door locking mechanism. Contacted gullo Ford conroe tx, they were not able to cheduje recall repairs due to inability to maintain stock and were not able to even schedule the repairs. Very dis-satisfied w the response and over all management of the repairs. No sense of urgency and concern about the criticality of the recalls.

Unknown if takata recall or other air bag issue. I am investigating officer not vehicle owner. Observed that post moving 2 car intersection crash and airbag deployment, B-pillar started on fire, melting seat belt, most of B-pillar and parts of curtain and side airbags. Fire put itself out. Owner was not injured but concerned. Heat appeared to have melted seat belt through, air bags were burnt. Case#M18-1676

From day one the passenger side shoulder harness periodically wouldn't take hold, forcing passenger to slide seat well back from dashboard to avoid injury. It was replaced once and is better than before but still occasionally fails. Brakes were extremely grabby from day one, but we drove the vehicle for 30000 miles before taking it in due to vibration during any braking since approx 25000 miles. Rotors were rturned and finally the vehicle brakes normally, helpful because it is less likely that braking will send passenger lurching forward when faulty shoulder harness won't hold.

In cold weather, the rear driver side door latches are inoperable. The door latch fails to engage, allowing the door to open while the vehicle is in motion. During right hand turns, bumps in the road, or when light pressure is applied to the driver side doors, the vehicle returns a "door ajar" warning as the door open itself. This is especially dangerous in the "supercab" configuration, as the rear door also contains the seat belt for the driver. If the door were to open fully, this could disrupt the driver's ability to control the vehicle, or potentially throw them out of the vehicle. This system failure can also be easily replicated when stationary. Open the driver's door and lightly pull on the rear door. You can see the latch failing to engage as the door move freely at the bottom instead of staying locked shut. When in motion, this problem occurs at all speeds, from parking lot maneuvers to highway travel. The first instance of this failure occurred at approximately 17. The door jambs and latch assemblies were confirmed to be free of ice, snow, or any other debris.

During a accident where I rear ended another vehicle that was either stopped or at a very slow roll on a off-ramp (traffic was backed up from a wreck further up), neither my airbags or my seat belt restrained me. The result being me hitting the steering wheel with my chest and abdomen. I had bruising on my lower abdomen and extensive injuries to my back, neck and hips. The chiropractor hopes to have me back to 80-90% of "normal" (how I was before the wreck) within 2-2 1/2 months. I estimate my speed upon impact to be between 50-60 mph.

I was involved in an accident on June 13, 2016 on a local city road at an intersection; where a vehicle failed to yield to right of way, causing me to hit them head on, on their front passenger side. I was temporarily knocked unconscious, and sustained 2 broken teeth, burns on my face from the airbag deployment (which has left scars), bruising and swelling on my lower abdomen, my torso, major bruising and swelling on the right side of my face, and severe tension in my neck and back. I was traveling no more that 35 mph. I sustained these injuries because the seat belt failed to lock on impact to restrain me from hitting the airbag so hard.
