problem #2

Aug 132018

F-150 XLT 2.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 19,070 miles

Wrench light came on, did not notice any issues while driving. Did have an odd hard bang under the truck sometime before I had realized the wrench light came on. Being transmission related perhaps was the pump failing that caused like a hard shift. No significant issues otherwise with the truck.

F-150 XLT 2.7

  • Automatic transmission
  • 31,500 miles

Maintenance light came on after auto start/stop engaged. Ran a vehicle health report and it stated transmission failure or loss of power. Took to Ford dealer and they determined the auxiliary transmission pump failed and needed replacing but not in stop so will have to keep my vehicle overnight to prep for part with should be in late that afternoon.

- will update once I pick car up from dealer.
