I bought this 2015 F150 brand new in Sept of 2015. For it's first oil change, in the spring of 2016, they called me out to the service bay to show me and inform me of transmission fluid leakage all over the front axle and in the skid plate. I never noticed any stains in my driveway, and I always park in the same spot, so it would be noticeable. They kept my truck for over a week, ran dye through the system, even called Livonia Transmission Plant engineers to have a look, too. Claimed they were baffled, but apparently not enough to give me a brand new transmission. They supposedly just changed out the housing after finding a metal burr along the mating edges, affecting the seal. This is what I was told anyways. They changed the oil and told me there is some trans fluid around the housing. Not much, but some. So could be residual from previous fix? I would think they'd have cleaned it, though. So have to get that looked at again. Meanwhile, I use my truck to tow my 5000lb trailer daily, so I had to beg for a tow-capable loaner vehicle. This was a big inconvenience, especially after I had bought this new truck after dumping my 2008 Chevy Suburban for, guess what? A faulty transmission that the dealer could not seem to repair. (It would drop into neutral between 10-15mph, randomly). Hoping I don't go through hell again with this Ford truck.

Engine warning light went on just prior to service. During service Ford dealer discovered transmission fluid was low. They had no explanation for why the transmission fluid was low could not find any leak. Suggested it be monitored at every service and to bring the vehicle back in if the warning light came on again.
