Has been a on and off problem, sometimes it works and some times it does not. I do not trust the truck on bad weather days can not defrost the windshield. it will lock up on floor heat only then another time only vent works and then other times only defrost works, on several road trips I had defrost heat on the passenger side and ice cold defrost on the drivers side in snow storms.so in 2017 it happened and I brought the truck in to a dealer as it was not working. When the mechanic looked at the truck later that day it was working fine so they claimed nothing was wrong. Now the next year 2018 it has been in the dealer 8-9 times for this fix and they witness the problem each time, so I left the truck there for several weeks on several different visits for repair as they claimed they fixed it. Only to find out sometimes a few weeks later it stops working. On the last visit to the dealer, they claimed they fixed it only to drive home and find out it was not working again the same day I pick up the truck. I turned around and brought the truck back to the dealer and this time I had the service manger come out and looked at the vehicle and he did not know what to say. Told me to make another appointment for this repair again. I was not waiting for a later appointment which is crazy as it was just there for almost 3 weeks. So I returned the truck the next day and left it there. The truck still sitting there waiting for a fix. My truck has been in the dealer for this repair this year alone for a total of 94 days as of today. It has been brought back in for this repair at least 8-9 times this year. As of yesterday my truck is still in there parking lot waiting to be fixed!!!!! They told me several weeks ago that they were going to request a rep from ford to come out to there shop to help out with a fix but nobody showed up yet. They changed all kind of parts and the dealer is trying to find a fix but still broke.
