There is a known recall for Ford F150 pickup trucks where a door may randomly open, even while driving down the freeway. It is acknowledged by Ford. I took my 2016 F150 King Ranch when the passenger door wouldn't close. When I checked the vehicle in, there was a $285 diagnostic fee, that I was assured would be covered under the recall. When I went to pick up the vehicle, James Ford, Half Moon Bay, said the defect wasn't covered as the latch had dog hair in it. This was utterly false, a way to charge the customer for a known Ford defect. The dog doesn't exit the passenger door. A tiny bit of dog hair on the floor and James Ford used this feeble excuse to charge me for a known Ford defect. This is despicable.
